NOVABUS LFS (1997)
The Nova LFS was delivered by Nova Bus and put into operation by the HSR in 1997. A total of twenty coaches were ordered. The Nova LFS is a low-floor urban transit bus and is 40 feet in length. This coach was the second type of low-floor bus ordered by the HSR, after the New Flyer C40LF ordered in 1996. This model of bus has the distinction of looking out of place with the rest of the buses in the city. With the majority of the current fleet being comprised of New Flyers, the gray bottoms and the large curved windshield, this coach stood out when they were first ordered.
