HAMILTON BUS ROUTES
The following is a list of all of the routes that the HSR has used with their bus service. Routes that are not clickable are routes that were never put into service. These route names and numbers were found on the 'rollsigns' of buses but were never used, though rare photos exist when a coach showed this sign in error. Once, while in a car in Dundas, I saw a bus displaying the sign '54 Governers Road' even though no such route exists. Upon asking the HSR about the sign they stated that the route designation exists on the rollsign because, at the time the buses were ordered, there was a possibility that the route might one day exist. Routes in italics are previous routes that have been discontinued. It should also be noted that this list does not show streetcar routes such as the 'Belt Line.'

	8	York	Shortest route in the HSR. This route is interligned with 6 Aberdeen and 7 Locke.
	9	Rock Gardens	Travels from Main & MacNab to Rock Gardens in Burlington. Only runs during summer months.
	10/10A	B-Line Express	Travels from University Plaza in the West end to Eastgate Square in the East end. This route only runs weekdays during peak periods. This route is interligned with 55 Stoney Creek Central and 58 Stoney Creek Local.
	11	Parkdale
	12	Wentworth	Weekday peak period service only.
	15	Sherman/Ottawa	This route was discontinued.
	16	Ancaster	This route in interligned with 43 Stone Church.
	17	Ancaster Local	This route was discontinued.
	18	Waterdown	Services area between Burlington and Waterdown.
	20	A-Line Express	New route service Service began September 8, 2009
	21	Upper Kenilworth	Previous route branches: 21A. This route is interligned with 33 Sanatorium.
	22	Upper Ottawa	Previous route branches: 22A/22B/22C. This route is interligned with 23 Upper Gage and 24 Upper Sherman.
	23	Upper Gage	This route is interligned with 22 Upper Ottawa and 24 Upper Gage.
	24	Upper Sherman	This route is interligned with 22 Upper Ottawa and 23 Upper Gage.
	25	Upper Wentworth	This route is interligned with 26 Upper Wellington.
	26	Upper Wellington	This route is interligned with 25 Upper Wentworth.
	27	Upper James	Previous route branches: 27A. This route is interligned with 35 College.
	28	Airport Shuttle	This shuttle route, which began November 5, 2001, was discontinued.
	31/31C 31D	Fennell	This route was discontinued.
	32	Garth	This route was discontinued.
	33	Sanatorium	This route is interligned with 21 Upper Kenilworth.
	34/34A	Upper Paradise
	35	College	This route is interligned with 27 Upper James.
	41/41A	Mohawk
	43	Stone Church	This route in interligned with 16 Ancaster.
	44	Rymal	Weekday peak period service only. Route extended September 8, 2009.
	45/45A	Limeridge	This route was discontinued.
	51	University	Runs from September until end of classes in April. Loops in the west end at McMaster University and at the Hamilton Go Centre downtown at its east end. Until sometime between 1991-1994 this route was named 5D University.
	52	Main West - Dundas	This is an westbound routing of 'Route 5 Delaware.' Newer buses display this route as simply 'Route 52 Dundas.'
	52A	Dundas Local	Weekday peak period service only.
	53	Burlington	This route was discontinued.
	55/55A	Stoney Creek Central
	56	Confederation Park	Weekend service only during summer.
	57	Nash	This route was discontinued.
	58	Stoney Creek Local
	59	Frances Avenue	This was a four month test route between Oct 2 1989 - Feb 4 1990. Service between Eastgate Square and Frances at Green.
	99	Waterfront Shuttle	Free service. Runs during summer only.

SHUTTLE ROUTES
	--	Mohawk Road East Extra Shuttle	This is a limited shuttle service that is not considered a full route. This shuttle only runs during peak periods on weekdays.
	--	Redeemer University College Shuttle	This is a limited shuttle service that is not considered a full route. This service only runs during peak periods on weekdays.
	--	Tiger-Cat Express Shuttle	This is a limited shuttle service that is not considered a full route. This shuttle runs for only a few hours before and after Tiger-Cat home games on gameday.
ROUTES THAT NEVER WERE
	39	Aldershot Station	This route was never put into service, however route 18 Waterdown serves Aldershot GO Station during it's brief run.
	46	Glanbrook	This route was never put into service.
- -	50	Dundas via Main West	This route was never put into service.
- -	54	Dundas - Governers Road	This route was never put into service. The route was installed in rollsigns but never used. The route 52 Main West - Dundas serves the area this route would have served.
